The CTRT has played a key role in funding the world class research work undertaken by consultants and their teams at Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital in west London. A separately funded branch of the charity supports Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex.

The teams at Charing Cross and Hammersmith have made significant contributions to combat cancers affecting the ovaries, the placenta, testes, brain, kidneys and lungs. Whilst more lives are being saved, the number of cancer patients is increasing because people are living longer and some cancers develop with age.

Our mission is to enable our consultants and scientists to continue turning research ideas into exciting research studies and new life-saving treatments.
